Equipment

  • Instant Pot

Ingredients:  

  • 1 pound ziti pasta
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can marinara sauce 24 oz
  • 2 cups water 475ml
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese 200g
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese 50g
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil for garnish

Instructions: 

  • Set the Instant Pot to sauté mode and brown the ground beef with the onion and garlic.
  • Add the marinara sauce, water, and ziti pasta to the pot. Stir to combine.
  • Close the lid and set the Instant Pot to manual high pressure for 6 minutes.
  • Once done, do a quick release and stir in half of the mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
  • Sprinkle the remaining cheese on top and let it melt.
  • Serve hot, garnished with fresh basil.
