  • 1 leftover turkey carcass
  • 1 onion, quartered
  • 2 carrots, chopped
  • 2 celery stalks, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, smashed
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 teaspoon peppercorns

Instructions: 

  • Place the turkey carcass, onion, carrots, celery, garlic, bay leaf, and peppercorns in the Instant Pot.
  • Fill the Instant Pot with water until it reaches the max fill line.
  • Close the lid and set the Instant Pot to high pressure for 1 hour.
  • Once the cooking time is up, allow the pressure to release naturally for 15 minutes, then do a quick release.
  • Strain the broth through a fine-mesh sieve or cheesecloth.
  • Use immediately or store in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or freeze for later use.

Notes:

This broth is perfect for soups, stews, or as a base for other recipes. You can freeze it in ice cube trays for easy portioning.
