Ingredients:  

Dry Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Wet Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Instructions: 

  • In a bowl, mix the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  • In another bowl, whisk together the melted butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract.
  • Combine the wet and dry ingredients until just mixed, then fold in the chocolate chips.
  • Pour the batter into a greased pan that fits in the Instant Pot.
  • Add 1 cup of water to the Instant Pot, place the trivet inside, and lower the pan onto the trivet.
  • Close the lid, set to sealing, and cook on high pressure for 25 minutes.
  • Allow natural pressure release for 10 minutes before quick releasing the remaining pressure.
  • Carefully remove the pan from the Instant Pot and let the brownies cool before slicing and serving.

Notes:

For best results, make sure to use a pan that fits comfortably inside your Instant Pot. You can also add nuts or other mix-ins to the batter if desired.
