  • 1 bunch collard greens washed and chopped
  • 1 onion diced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup chicken or vegetable broth
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Red pepper flakes optional

Instructions: 

  • Set the Instant Pot to sauté mode and heat the olive oil.
  • Add the diced onion and minced garlic, sauté until fragrant.
  • Add the chopped collard greens and sauté for a few minutes until they start to wilt.
  • Pour in the broth and season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes if using.
  • Close the Instant Pot lid, set to high pressure for 5 minutes.
  • Once done, do a quick pressure release and carefully open the lid.
  • Serve the collard greens hot as a side dish.
