beef broth

Worcestershire sauce
to taste
Salt and pepper

cornstarch

tbsp

Instructions:
Season the rump roast with salt and pepper.
Set the Instant Pot to sauté mode and heat the olive oil.
Sear the rump roast on all sides until browned. Remove and set aside.
Add onions and garlic to the Instant Pot, sauté until softened.
Pour in beef broth and Worcestershire sauce, deglaze the pot.
Return the rump roast to the Instant Pot.
Close the lid, set to high pressure for 60 minutes.
Natural release for 15 minutes, then quick release.
Remove the roast and let it rest.
Mix cornstarch and water, stir into the gravy in the pot.
Slice the roast and serve with gravy.
Notes:
For best results, let the roast rest for at least 10 minutes before slicing to retain its juices.
