Ingredients:

  • 8 slices bread
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • Butter for greasing

Instructions: 

  • In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, sugar, and cinnamon.
  • Cut bread slices into cubes and place them in the Instant Pot.
  • Pour the egg mixture over the bread cubes and add raisins. Stir to combine.
  • Close the Instant Pot lid, set to sealing, and cook on high pressure for 25 minutes.
  • Once done, do a quick pressure release and carefully open the lid.
  • Serve the French toast warm with maple syrup or powdered sugar.

Notes:

For a richer flavor, you can use half-and-half instead of milk. You can also add a pinch of nutmeg for extra spice.
