Instructions:
Set the Instant Pot to sauté mode and melt the butter. Add the sliced onions and sugar, and cook until caramelized.
Add the beef broth, red wine, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Close the lid and cook on high pressure for 15 minutes.
Allow for a natural pressure release for 10 minutes, then manually release the remaining pressure.
Ladle the soup into oven-safe bowls, top with baguette slices and grated Gruyere cheese.
Broil in the oven until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
