Instructions:
In a bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, and salt.
In another bowl, cream the sugar and butter together.
Add the eggs and vanilla extract to the sugar mixture and mix well.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with milk.
Pour the batter into a greased cake pan.
Place the cake pan on the trivet in the Instant Pot with 1 cup of water in the pot.
Cook on high pressure for 30 minutes.
Allow natural pressure release before removing the cake from the Instant Pot.
