Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 red bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 can diced tomatoes (14.5 oz)
  • 1 can tomato sauce (8 oz)
  • 1 can diced green chilies (4 oz)
  • 1 cup frozen corn
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup cornmeal
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 egg

Instructions: 

  • Preheat the Ninja Foodi on the sauté setting. Brown the ground beef with the onion and red bell pepper.
  • Add the diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, green chilies, corn, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.
  • In a separate bowl, mix the cornmeal, cheddar cheese, milk, and egg until well combined.
  • Spread the cornmeal mixture over the beef mixture in the Ninja Foodi.
  • Close the crisping lid and set the Ninja Foodi to bake at 375°F for 25-30 minutes, or until the cornbread is cooked through and golden brown.
  • Serve hot and enjoy your delicious Tamale Pie!

Notes:

This recipe is perfect for a quick and hearty meal. You can also add some jalapenos for extra heat.
