Ingredients:  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken thighs
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon ground paprika
  • 1 teaspoon ground turmeric
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 pita bread
  • Toppings of your choice (lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, tahini sauce)

Instructions: 

  • In a bowl, mix olive oil, garlic, cumin, paprika, turmeric, cinnamon, salt, and pepper.
  • Add chicken thighs to the bowl and coat them well with the marinade. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  • Place the marinated chicken thighs in the air fryer basket and cook for 18-20 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  • Once the chicken is cooked through, slice it into strips.
  • Warm the pita bread in the air fryer for a minute.
  • Assemble the pitas by placing the chicken strips and your choice of toppings inside the pita bread.
  • Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes:

For best results, marinate the chicken for a few hours or overnight.
