Ingredients:  

Cake Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cocoa powder
  • 1 1/2 cups vegetable oil
  • 1 cup buttermilk, room temperature
  • 2 large eggs, room temperature
  • 2 tablespoons red food coloring
  • 1 teaspoon white distilled vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions: 

  • Preheat the Ninja Foodi to 350°F (180°C).
  • In a bowl, mix the flour, sugar, baking soda, salt, and cocoa powder.
  • In another bowl, whisk together the oil, buttermilk, eggs, food coloring, vinegar, and vanilla.
  • Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, mixing until smooth.
  • Pour the batter into a greased cake pan that fits in the Ninja Foodi.
  • Place the cake pan in the Ninja Foodi and bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  • Let the cake cool before frosting and serving.
