How to make a Box cake in the Instant Pot
Hey there friends! As many times I have shared dessert and cake recipes, it never seems to get old. It sure doesn’t with me either so why not eat cake every day:)? Today I am sharing how to make a a box cake in the Instant Pot. If you are more of a visual person, you can find my live demonstration on how to make a box cake in the Instant Pot HERE.
For this recipe all you need is one box of Duncan Hines Lemon supreme, a small can of crushed pineapple, and maraschino cherries are optional.
As pretty as the cake looks as delicious as it tastes. The combination of lemon and pineapple were very refreshing. You can always make it your own creative way with any flavor cake mix and fruit toppings you prefer.
At this I point have made so many cakes in the Instant Pot, I couldn’t even tell you what is a favorite of mine.
When this Lemon supreme cake was done cooking in the Instant Pot, as soon as I removed it, I poked the bottom of the cake with a straw, then drizzled pineapple juice inside the holes. I let the cake cool for at least 15 minutes before flipping it.
And there you have a refreshing, moist and delicious cake from the Instant Pot. No need to heat our ovens this summer, or all year round when baking. Try a cake today!
Several of you asked about the bowl I was using in the video. I absolutely LOVE this bowl. You can find it here on Amazon through my affiliate link.
